Tentang projectku lagi & VB.NET...
Akhirnya berhasil mengganti nama header kolom Data Grid pakai TableStyles.
Eh, malah ganti List Box nya ga bisa munculin data.
Setelah pusing berjam-jam, ga tahu apa yang salah..., akhirnya ketemu juga.
Ternyata VB.NET ini "case-sensitive" !! -> hanya persoalan yang sepele
Selama ini aku pakai VB 6 ga pernah peduliin huruf besar ato kecil, nyampur semua. Kali ini aku harus lebih berhati-hati dengan penggunaan huruf.

Finally... My very first FORM

Finally... My very first FORM

After 5 days...
Finally... I can finish my very first, very simple FORM
Still a long way to go before finish this project ... :p

As far as I can tell, VB.NET is cool, eventhough I'm facing troubles using it 'cause not very familiar and I'm weak in Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
So I think I'll continue to use this instead of VB 6.0 which I usually use. Maybe it's too late to realize and upgrade myself, but it's better to be late than not at all, right... ;)

Hari ini Pemilu Legislatif, seperti pemilu2 & pilkada2 sebelumnya, ke TPS yang hanya berjarak beberapa langkah dari rumah.
Yang beda di Pemilu kali ini yaitu bukan "nyoblos" tapi "nyontreng".
Yah biarpun kaga ngerti siapa yang mesti dipilih, aku ikutan nyontreng juga sebagai warga negara yang baik yang menggunakan hak pilihnya. :D

Dari kemarin malam, keluar dari rumah, ganti suasana, nginap di tempat adik. Lumayan juga sih ada di sini, paling tidak ga sesumpek di rumah. Yang jelas sepi alias ga ada telp ato orang2 yang nge-bel, karena aku cuma nongkrong di lt.3

Bagus juga suasana di sini untuk bikin projectku, sebelum sekarang, sekarang nih di belakang lagi muter lagu house music hehe, bikin konsentrasi jadi rada terganggu.

Using VB.NET without using ADO.NET ??

After thinking and trying and confusing, I give up on MySQL
'cause I can't use the .NET Connector - means I won't use ADO.NET
and the second reason I can't fill DataGrid using data from MySQL, so strange

So, I decide to back to the basic, use SQLServer instead of MySQL
And that means I'll use ADO.NET off course :p
Eventhough that won't make me finish this project faster
'cause I'll have to learn this new things
But, I won't learn if not being pushed this way right? ;p

Almost one month I lost my appetite...

The project that have been given to me which I'm starting to work on, make me get my appetite again, but on the contrary my stomach can't compromise. I couldn't eat normally yesterday, and today I can eat more but everything I put into my stomach just out not so long after I ate. So I'm kinda have conflict inside my body.

I think sooner or later I'm going to be thin or going to be sick

After one and a half day trying to find solution how to connect VB.NET to MySQL using MySQL Connector NET, became frustated, I give up
So, I'm going back to use MyODBC instead, than wasting anymore time..

Hope I can finish this project soon, so I can go out of this town

Barusan hujan deras, jalanan depan rumah tergenang air dikit.
Ambil sepeda, keluar rumah, salah paham, kirain bertugas.
Akhirnya aku kayuh sepeda muterin Sumber Mulyo, Gundih.
Enak juga sih udara sejuk karena baru hujan.
Tapi masih agak gerimis, jadi aku urung muter2 lebih jauh.
Kepalaku jadi basah kena air hujan karena ga pake topi.
Sometime, pingin muterin kota tercinta ini pake sepeda.
Seru kali yah dari ujung ke ujung, ato mungkin sekalian kalo jembatan ke Madura udah selesai, sekalian nyabrang aja ke sana hehe. Bener2 pikiran orang stress.

Jadi teringat kembali ke desa di ujung pulau Jawa.
Mungkin asyik juga yah kalo bisa keliling2 di sana naik sepeda.
Mana udaranya ga seberpolusi Surabaya.
Ah, dasar bodoh, ngapain ingat2 itu lagi...
